Air France-KLM announces new growth plan
Air France-KLM halved its operating loss in the first half of this year to €207 million.
Chairman Alexandre de Juniac said: "Quarter after quarter, our results are consistently reflecting the benefits of the productivity measures implemented under Transform 2015."
Transform 2015 is the airline’s cost-cutting plan, which will be completed in a few months. It will be replaced by Perform 2020, a new five-year growth plan for the group, announced Juniac. Further details will be announced in September, he said.
Earlier this month the airline group issued a profit warning, saying earnings for the year would drop from a previously forecast €2.5 billion to a maximum of €2.2bn.
