Air India adds seven regional languages to customer support service
Air India has upgraded its enhanced its customer support services with the addition of seven new regional languages to its Interactive Voice Response system.
These languages include Bengali, Kannada, Marathi, Telugu, Punjabi, Tamil, and Malayalam, as well as existing English and Hindi.
The IVR will now automatically recognise the customer’s language and which the airline says will reduce the response time.
Air India recently opened five new customer contact centres.
