Air New Zealand joins AAPA
The Association of Asia Pacific Airlines (AAPA) has welcomed Air New Zealand as the latest AAPA member.
Air NZ is a member with immediate effect following the recent addition of Qantas
“Air New Zealand’s role in connecting New Zealand to the world and its strong international outlook will reinforce the collective advocacy of airlines in the Asia Pacific region,” said Mr. Subhas Menon, Director General of AAPA.
The AAPA is based in the Asia Pacific region is headquartered in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia with international representation in Brussels and Washington, D.C.
The AAPA represents over one-third of global passenger and air cargo traffic.
“Joining the AAPA will ensure we can share learnings with our regional counterparts, to ensure a thriving Asia Pacific aviation industry into the future,” said Air NZ CEO, Greg Foran.
