air safety
The Power of the World Wide Web
Is this the first court in cyberspace
As it has become apparent that there is no worldwide aviation organization that’s either equipped or with the teeth to police commercial hot air balloon rides industry. We at hot air balloon safety (HABS) have constructed and set in motion the very means in which such hot air balloon companies may find themselves accountable to. This should not generate concern for the many operator that uphold the normal ethical standards, nor for those that make the odd small & genuine mistake.
Our Aim
Provide all commercial pilots with some degree of protection thus enabling him/her to have the confidence to stand up to the few outfits that have chosen to dilute the intended ethical structures that we and our passengers should expect to find in all facets of the aviation industry.
The Concept
This is a radical approach, a concept employing structures found in consumer protection program such as the Uk watchdog, and crime stopper. Each employs public awareness strategies that encourages far reaching public debate. HABS, as its name implies, its primary concern is the enhancement of commercial hot air ballooning industry. We are committed to stamping out the undermining of the PIC authority, safeguarding their employment status from intimidation practices.
