Airbnb Plus rolls out in Thailand
Airbnb is rolling out its premium product in Thailand’s top two markets.
Airbnb Plus is now live in Bangkok with Phuket added in December.
Airbnb Plus is an enhanced home product which is independently verified for quality assurance by a third party across dozens of criteria covering comfort, design, amenities, cleanliness and more.
Airbus Plus is only awarded to the most highly rated hosts with the best reviews.
The service kicked off with 43 homes across Bangkok.
"Airbnb Plus was introduced to broaden the appeal of Airbnb and recognise local hosts who go above and beyond to provide outstanding and authentic hospitality," said Mike Orgill, Airbnb’s Southeast Asia, Hong Kong and Taiwan country manager.
"Our engagement with our hosts have allowed us to continuously improve our product and launch Airbnb Plus homes, now personally verified."
Airbnb Plus hosts can make use of top placement on the Airbnb website and app, in-home services, and enhanced photography.
