Airbus calls an end to the recession
Airbus has wrapped up a successful ILA Berlin Air show with commitments for 67 aircraft valued at more than US$15.3 billion.
The standout order was from Emirates for 32 A380 aircraft worth around US$11.5 billion.
A clearly excited Airbus executive John Leahy said, “The recessionary tide has turned. What we have seen at ILA are green shoots of industry recovery.
“There is more to come as the industry picks up.â€
