AITO choses Malta for winter conference
The Association of Independent Tour Operators has chosen Valletta in Malta for its winter conference.
The event will be held from November 28 to December 1.
It will be the second time the association has held two overseas conferences after it decided to have one for sales staff and one for owners of travel agents and tour operators.
Pre and post conference trips are expected to be scheduled, including diving off Gozo, guided tours of Valletta, and the ancient capital of Mdina.
Flights will be available with conference partner Air Malta from Heathrow, Gatwick and Manchester.
Speakers have yet to be announced.
AITO has already confirmed that Drayton Manor theme park and hotel will be the venue for its 2014 domestic conference on January 11-12 and Prague for its overseas conference on June 12-15.
