Amadeus checks in with hotel deals

Tuesday, 21 Oct, 2013 0

Amadeus has launched the Amadeus Hotels Select web portal that allows hoteliers to promote their deals and offers directly to travel agents in Asia Pacific.

Amadeus travel agents will have access to exclusive hotel rates and special offers from more than 1,100 hotels worldwide.

Amadeus said agents would be able to consolidate latest hotel promotional content on a single online platform, "reducing the time needed for them to sieve through extensive data".

Amadeus Hotels Select is directly connected to the Amadeus Global Distribution System (GDS).

Travel agents will have instant visibility on promotional offers and deals, and with a single click of a button they can book the hotels.

Kartikeya Tripathi, head of hotel distribution, Amadeus Asia Pacific, said: "Participating hoteliers can now highlight their best and latest offers instantly to a wide network of travel agents. This allows them the much needed agility and flexibility to communicate special offers."

Amadeus Hotels Select web portal is available in Asia Pacific and will be implemented to other regions.
