Amadeus inks deal with CCRA
Plans to build web of international travel agencies
Amadeus, the travel technology partner and transaction processor has signed a five-year agreement with CCRA Travel Solutions, a firm specializing in travel services integration and distribution, to provide worldwide distribution services and technology.
CCRA says it plans to expand worldwide and build an international consortia of travel agencies. Agreements have already been reached with partners in Poland, Ireland, Portugal, Benelux, Singapore, India, Thailand, Venezuela, Colombia, Peru, South Africa, and Egypt.
"Since we began this undertaking, we have added a dozen distributors in as many markets. At this pace, our goal over the next 24 months is to appoint no less than 20 additional new Distributor Networks representing 15 more countries which, in turn, will have exclusive access to the purchasing power of our global supplier marketplace": said Richard Marxen, president and CEO, CCRA Travel Solutions.
