Amadeus offers new ways to sell

Wednesday, 15 Jul, 2010 0

Amadeus has released to customers around Australia and New Zealand the latest version of its front office solution, Amadeus Selling Platform,

Amadeus said the new version includes developments that deliver increased productivity and improved processes.

They include Amadeus Cars Plus, a fully graphical tool that enables car content to be booked at the click of a mouse, and Amadeus Exchange Ticketing where agents can perform ticket exchanges and re-issues in just a few minutes.

Amadeus Cars Plus is a fully graphic tool that allows travel agents to search and book cars just as they would on a consumer website.

New features include advanced search options (for example, search for car rental offers around a landmark or an address), comparative availability displays and extensive multimedia such as car images, maps and pick up locations.

Cars Plus also offers consolidated rates within one tool, including public, corporate and pre-paid.

The deployment of Amadeus Selling Platform is expected to be completed in the third quarter this year.
