Amadeus valued at €4.93bn in IPO

The initial public offering of Amadeus shares to be listed on Spanish stock markets has valued the company at €4.93 billion.
 
The valuation is based on 119,684,662 shares at €11.00 per share.
 
The price is above the midpoint of the €9.20-12.20 per share range indicated on April 14.
 
The listing of the company’s shares on the Madrid, Barcelona, Bilbao and Valencia stock exchanges is expected tomorrow (Thursday).
 
As a result, the public will end up holding 29.41% of Amadeus shares. Air France, Lufthansa and Iberia remain as minority shareholders.
