Amelia Island Plantation kicks off season in November
Amelia Island Plantation is excited to light up the holiday season with its annual family tradition. The Holiday Lights Celebration will take place on Friday, November 23 from 6pm -9pm in The Spa & Shops at Amelia Island Plantation.
Families and members of the community will gather to enjoy live entertainment, hot chocolate, hot apple cider, beer, wine and holiday cookies. The event will also feature horse and carriage rides, live entertainment and pictures with Santa Claus. The highlight of the evening will be the arrival of Santa who will light the shops and trees with more than 30,000 twinkling lights.
“This is truly an event that brings out the holiday spirit in everyone. It is a great way to celebrate the holiday season with your loved ones,” said Richard Goldman, Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer at Amelia Island Plantation. “I love watching the little ones faces as they tell Santa what they want for the Christmas.”
The annual Holiday Light Celebration is open to the public. The horse and carriage rides, pictures with Santa Claus, entertainment, hot chocolate and hot apple cider are complimentary. Beer and wine will be available for purchase.
