Monday, 11 Aug, 2016 0

American Airlines is now offering full, unrestricted access to in-flight entertainment in the main cabin.

Customers will be able to view premium movies, TV shows, music and games on their own devices or seatback entertainment systems.

Customers using their own devices can access this free, premium entertainment via the the American Airlines mobile app.

Previously American only offered a limited entertainment selection in economy.

The airline says availability of titles will vary by aircraft.

There are nearly 300 American jets fitted with seatback entertainment systems while all American domestic mainline aircraft and two-class regional jets offer in-flight Wi-Fi.

It follows a similar announcement by Delta Air Lines in June to make its entire entertainment library free for all passengers.
