American pulls most fares out of Expedia in US
American Airlines has withdrawn almost all tickets for sale through Expedia in the US.
No explanation was given for the measure which affects international and domestic first and business class tickets for customers purchasing travel from the US.
A statement from the airline said: “Effective immediately, American Airlines, the world’s largest airline, will no longer sell international tickets or domestic first or business class tickets through Expedia.com or any other website powered by Expedia.com to customers purchasing travel from the United States.”
Domestic economy tickets will still be available through Expedia.
