ARC reaches record

Wednesday, 12 Aug, 2004 0

The average weekly e-ticketing by ARC accredited travel agencies and corporate travel departments took a big leap in July.

Average e-ticketing as a percentage of total ticketing reached almost 87% for that month compared to almost 85% the month before, and 83% a year ago. The 87% figure established a new record level of e-ticketing for the travel agency industry, according to ARC.

Total sales and international fares both compare favorably to the year before.

ARC also reported that average weekly sales per agency location are continuing well above 2003 levels, exceeding average weekly sales a year ago by 13%.
