Are you a budding travel photographer?………………………
A report in The Sydney Morning Herald says that your work could end up on the cover of a Lonely Planet guide, with the travel publisher having launched a photographic competition and the winning entry to be published by Lonely Planet.
If it’s good enough, it could be the cover of one of the 100-or-so guides published annually.
The competition, which is being run in conjunction with Angus & Robertson, is open to Australian residents over 18, with entries being accepted until December 31.
The first-prize-winner will also receive camera equipment worth $1500, a photography course valued at $1000 and a one-day photography training session with the professional photographer Richard I’Anson, who takes many of Lonely Planet’s images.
The winner will also receive return economy flights to Melbourne for the session and a collection of Lonely Planet pictures.
Four runners-up will each receive a collection of Lonely Planet titles worth $1000.
To enter, you need to make a purchase at any Angus & Robertson store or online at http://www.angusrobertson.com.au.
