Traveltek has inked a new strategic partnership with global accommodation platform TravelgateX. Traveltek will get access to over 600 accommodation suppliers available via the connection to TravelgateX. This includes channel managers and direct hotel connections, allowing travel agents and OTA’S to search and book via Isell, their desktop application. This facilitates easy packaging capabilities with air and cruise. “We are delighted to partner with Travelgate to rapidly increase our accommodation offering and support a more diverse hotel inventory,” said Tracy Sharp, Traveltek’s Global Director of Revenue & Supply.   Travel technology specialist Traveltek is delighted to announce the appointment of Rebecca Somes as their Head of Digital Marketing.   Somes joins at an exciting time for Traveltek, following a second year of record-breaking growth for the global technology specialist.   Somes will report to Chief Commercial Officer, Cressida Sergeant and be responsible for working closely with the Traveltek sales team to drive international growth. A key part of her role will be to maintain brand awareness in mature markets for Traveltek and raise the profile of Traveltek in North America. Rebecca is also tasked with continuing to further automate processes and imbed AI tools to aid the sales team in their productivity.   Somes brings over a decade of valuable expertise gained in the North American, Middle Eastern, and European markets. After a successful tenure abroad, she returned to the UK in 2021. Disney Cruise Line is now available to Traveltek travel agent partners via its cruise API. It’s available to book via iSell in their agent cruise desktop application. DCL has worked with Traveltek to provide their cruise inventory to all of Traveltek’s customers in major global markets. These include the UK, US, APAC and LATAM regions. This product will be available in the current Traveltek single aggregated API, which means customers can easily get access. It can easily be packaged with hotel and air. Later this year Disney sails from Australian and New Zealand for the first time, offering new itineraries aboard the Disney Wonder.  They range from two to six nights from Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane as well as Auckland, New Zealand.
