ASTA promoting family travel

Saturday, 07 Nov, 2003 0

The American Society of Travel Agents (ASTA) has joined with four nationally known companies, among them AT&T Wireless, to promote family holiday travel.

A national media tour kicked off this week in Hartford, Conn.

The “Travel Tips for Holiday Trips” news segments feature travel and parenting expert Deborah Geigis Berry, a travel editor for Family Fun Magazine and author of Disney Travel guidebooks.

A short article by Ms Berry is featured on ASTA’s new consumer website, TravelSense.org.

Among her many tips: consider using a travel agent who can recommend vacation destinations tailor-made for a family’s interest and budget.
