Attractive prices on offer to British Airways travellers
British Airways has announced that it is reducing the price of World Traveller and World Traveller Plus tickets for flights from Australia to Europe for a limited period only.
Encouraging travellers to take advantage of these great fares, British Airways is also providing a free side trip to one of 23 destinations in Europe and the UK. Not only can customers take up this amazing offer, they can also add a third European destination onto their itinerary from as little as $253 (includes taxes and charges) and really make the most of their holiday.
“The applicable travel periods are 1 April to 25 November 2008 so with 84 destinations to choose from, the only difficult decision will be whether to explore the Berlin art scene, celebrate the Edinburgh Festival, sip cocktails in Nice, or haggle in Tangier,” said British Airways regional general manager Roger Burr.
Special fares start from:
Cabin class: World Traveller
Sydney: $1999
Melbourne: $2070
Brisbane: $2096
Perth: $1982
Adelaide: $1982
From fares starting at $3989 (ex Sydney), customers can upgrade to World Traveller Plus premier economy class, and enjoy wider, more comfortable seats with more legroom and greater seat recline.
“This pricing makes travelling to Europe very tempting and it allows people to visit other nearby destinations with incredible ease. It’s a great opportunity for leisure travellers to enjoy the benefits of a premium airline and we encourage them to book quickly, as we expect these seats to go fast,” Mr Burr added.
The UK and Europe are perfect destinations for all holiday makers. Attend a sporting event such as Wimbledon, seek adventure and action on the Austrian slopes, appreciate art and history in Italy, take the family to Disney in Paris or jam at a music festival in Manchester.
Travellers can visit ba.com or contact their travel agent to take advantage of this special offer and discover what events they can attend in 2008.
In 2007, British Airways was voted Airline of the Year at both the annual World Traveller Awards ceremony and by the Official Airline Guide (OAG) Airline of the Year Awards.
As a full-service airline, British Airways provides leisure passengers with a wide range of in-flight benefits including high quality entertainment, a choice of mouth-watering meals and activity packs for children to keep them busy on long-haul routes.
