Australia Post in tie-up with HWT, Amex
Australia Post has boosted its travel business by offering foreign currency exchange, passports, travel insurance, flights and bookings in post offices throughout the country.
In a first for Australia Post, the Brisbane GPO super store will feature a dedicated Harvey World Travel outlet.
Hundreds of Australia Post retail outlets will become travel ‘super stores’ as part of AP’s transformational network strategy.
Australia Post has also announced a new partnership with American Express to offer currency exchange outlets in 200 of its post offices across the country staffed by American Express foreign exchange specialists.
This will complement existing over-the-counter foreign currency services where customers can order online or in person for collection at more than 3,200 stores across the country.
Australia Post has also launched its own travel insurance product.
