Australian Airlines adds to Bali service

Australian Airlines today announced it would add a fourth weekly service to Bali from Sydney and offer a weekly service between Perth and Bali during December and January.

The additional Sydney-Bali service commences on 19 December and the Perth-Bali service begins on 26 December.

From 29 January, Australian Airlines will reinstate its full schedule of services to Bali – three flights per week between Sydney and Bali, two flights per week between Melbourne and Bali and two flights per week between Perth and Bali.

Australian Airlines Chief Executive Andrea Staines said the extra services were added to meet demand for capacity over the school holiday period following the suspension of Air Paradise services on 23 November.

“Australian Airlines will now be offering additional services which means more opportunities to fly to Bali.”

“This also gives those still finalising holiday plans the option to enjoy time in Bali,” she said.

“Until 16 December, Australian Airlines and Qantas are also offering Air Paradise ticket holders who have yet to depart a discounted rate for travel to Bali up to 31 March.”

Australian Airlines currently operates three weekly services from Sydney to Bali, while Qantas flies from Darwin to Bali twice per week.
