Australian tourism publisher gets ahead of the competition

The Australian Tourism Data Warehouse (ATDW) and V3 have announced the integration of its first distributor onto Australia’s groundbreaking booking platform, Tourism Exchange Australia (TXA).

TXA allows online tourism operators and marketers the unique opportunity to provide consumers with high quality product and destination information combined with instant product book-ability through one simple system.

Online tourism publisher, Quickgetaways, has become the first new ATDW distributor to integrate, gaining access to many booking systems’ inventory through TXA’s central interface.  Quickgetaways will now be able to provide their consumers with a wider choice of Australia’s niche products as well as the larger suppliers.

“It was imperative that we provide our consumers with a broad spectrum of choice and stay ahead of our competitors in an increasingly aggressive market.” Quickgetaways CEO, John Glendenning, said.

“In addition, the hassle of looking after booking transactions ourselves is removed as transactions are taken care of through the TXA system, simplifying the booking processes.”

“We have been very happy with the ease in which we have been able to integrate and excited about the opportunities this will now provide us with.”

Quickgetaways is the first of several online tourism marketers that plan to integrate into TXA over the coming months.

“We are pleased to support Quickgetaways’ initiative to take advantage of TXA’s all-inclusive booking platform.” ATDW CEO, Liz Ward, said.

“Quickgetaways will now be able to access the breadth and depth of Australian tourism content that exists on the ATDW national database and guide consumers through a seamless “look” to “book” process”.”
