Avro charters added to Galileo Custom Fares
Charter flight-only company Avro is to distribute seats via Galileo’s Custom Fares product.
Custom Fares enables agents to use the GDS to search, compare and book fares from multiple sources.
The addition of Avro, which sells more than one million seats a year, coincides with a revamp of Custom Fares to improve functionality following consultation with agents.
The system searches all web suppliers for a given rote and provides agents with results displayed either by price or date.
Avro managing director Michael Vinales said: “We are delighted to be the only charter flight operator featured on Galileo’s updated version of Custom Fares enabling agents to provide their customers with the most suitable charter flights in terms of timing and price. With our increase in regional departures, expanding range of flights and new routes coming on line, agents will have easy access to our entire product range.”
Cendant Travel Distribution Services UK & Ireland regional managing director Jason Clarke said: “The addition of charter flights to the existing scheduled and web content further proves that Galileo is leading the way in bringing productivity enhancing products to our customers.”
