BA flight forced back to Heathrow
A British Airways flight was forced to return to Heathrow yesterday due to what was described by the airline as a ‘technical issue’.
Flight 1340 to Leeds Bradford turned back shortly after it had taken off at 8.23am, said the Evening Standard.
The newspaper said the captain had requested a priority landing and the aircraft arrived back at Heathrow just before 9am.
A British Airways spokeswoman told the newspaper there had been a ‘minor technical issue’.
