BA shares move ahead on results
Travel and tourism shares failed to make many major moves yesterday as London’s equity markets marked time.
The FTSE 100 index dropped 7.9 points to end the day at 4908.3, while the FTSE 250 moved in the other direction and gained 8.6 points, closing at 7266.5.
British Airways shares dropped slightly ahead of its third-quarter results but pushed ahead in early trading this morning, adding 4.5p to 275p.
