Bali flight refunds ruled out
A Herald Sun report says that travellers may be left out of pocket after Jetstar refused to refund cancelled flights to Indonesia.
On Sunday, the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade warned Australians to stay away from Indonesia because of an imminent terrorist threat, with families and others who had planned trips there have been told there will be no refunds.
“We are obviously monitoring the situation, with the overall level of travel advice coming from DFAT did not say do not travel,” airline spokesman Simon Westaway said.
“Flight bookings will therefore remain according to normal terms and conditions.”
