Bali on a roll
New figures reveal that Bali is on target to exceed visitor number targets this year.
In the first nine months of the year, Bali received 2.05 million international visitors, more than 10 percent higher than arrivals during the first three quarters of 2010.
The Bali Government Tourism Office said it was optimistic that the target of 2.7 million foreign arrivals in 2011 would be exceeded.
Australia provided the greatest number of visitors – 585,693, followed by those from China (179,219) and Japan (142, 670).
All markets showed an increase apart from Japan and South Korea, which declined by 27.2 percent and 1.5 percent respectively.
