Bankrupt but leads on ‘best on-time’

Bankrupt Hawaiian Airlines led all carriers for the best on-time arrival rate in November, the latest month for numbers from the Bureau of Transportation Statistics.

The carrier’s flights arrived on time 93.4% of the time.

Second was JetBlue with 87.5% of its flights on time, followed by Northwest at 84.2%.

The worst: Delta’s Atlantic Southeast Airlines (ASA), 68.1%.

Delta’s ASA also had the nation’s most-often delayed flight. Its Flight 4719 from Flint, Mich., to Atlanta was late 96.7% of the time.
