Barrhead expands it business travel arm
Barrhead Travel’s business travel subsidiary, Business Travel Solutions, is to open new offices in London, Manchester and Aberdeen.
At the same time, its Glasgow division will relocate to new premises on St Vincent Street, having outgrown its space in Barrhead Travel’s Oswald Street superstore.
With an existing office in Belfast, the three new locations will bring the number of offices in the UK to five.
Stephen McGuire, head of Business Travel Solutions, said: "In recent months we have won a substantial number of new contracts and we’re keen to increase our regional presence.
"New offices in Aberdeen, Manchester and London will give us even greater reach across the UK and will open up access to a wealth of new business travel markets.
"In response, in Glasgow we are recruiting 10 new business travel specialists as well as several more at our offices across the UK in order to service the new business."
As part of the expansion, Chris Watson has been appointed business development manager.
