Barrhead Travel summer campaign focuses on lates
Barrhead Travel has doubled down on summer marketing as it reports continued demand for late bookings.
The “SOS – Save On Summer” campaign launched in early June with a new television ad.
The ad is designed to create a sense of urgency and is an evolution from its summer activity in 2022.
It debuted on Scottish channels in June and has been followed up with national and regional advertising, as well as on-demand targeted video.
SOS – Save on Summer will promote the lates market, encouraging prospective holidaymakers to visit their local Barrhead Travel.
Alongside TV, the campaign has additional online and offline activity including dedicated local marketing packs and summer selfie “photo-booth” props for every branch.
Nicki Tempest-Mitchell, Sales & Marketing Director, said: “We are gearing up for a strong summer and the breadth of our marketing activity will reflect this.”
“It’s our biggest summer campaign since before the pandemic and our fun creative is designed to pique the interest.”
Barrhead says Easter and the bank holidays resulted in record-breaking sales.
It cites demand for second and third holidays.
The SOS – Save on Summer campaign will run throughout the duration of the summer.
