BCD Travel expands to Cambodia
BCD Travel is entering the Cambodia market following an enhanced arrangement with long time Cambodian partner Tonle Travel.
This latest foray gives BCD a presence in 18 Asia Pacific markets.
"The partnership with Tonle Travel allows us to enhance our service offering and grow our presence in a key emerging market," said Vinay Chhaya, BCD vice president of operations in Asia-Pacific.
Founded 17 years ago, Tonle Travel focuses on corporate travel services and inbound tours.
The designation of Tonle Travel as the face of BCD in Cambodia is the natural extension of an existing four-year working relationship between the companies.
"Cambodia’s robust economic performance continues, with 7.5 per cent anticipated real growth in 2015 and rising foreign direct investment. This growth in the manufacturing, construction and service sectors has resulted in increased demand for quality corporate travel management solutions," said Tui Rutten, managing director of Tonle Travel.
