Beat the Exchange Rates in Europe with Cosmos

Tuesday, 20 Oct, 2008 0

Cosmos has unveiled its Europe 2009 brochure, offering tours from as little as $79 a day and a chance to beat the exchange rates with confirmed prices in Aussie dollars.

Cosmos land prices are protected from currency fluctuations once a full deposit is paid, giving Australians unbeatable value in Europe no matter what happens in the currency markets.

The Cosmos Europe 2009 brochure offers more than 60 holidays at prices almost impossible to achieve travelling independently, capitalising on Cosmos’ packaging power and the experience of the Globus Family of Brands.

Tours of Turkey are available from as little as $79 a day, through Spain, Portugal and Morocco from $118 a day and to Prague, Vienna and Budapest from $121 a day.  Even in Britain, holidays are available from as little as $138 a day.

Cosmos Marketing Manager Australasia Christian Schweitzer said a Cosmos holiday offered peace of mind when travelling in Europe, despite volatile currencies.

“Once you’ve paid a full deposit, the land content of your holiday is fixed and you’re protected from currency fluctuations,” Mr Schweitzer said.

New tours in the Cosmos Europe 2009 brochure include:

The four-day Taste of Britain from $693* per person from London to Cambridge, York, Hadrian’s Wall, Edinburgh, the Lake District, North Wales and Stratford-upon-Avon.

The eight-day Historic Eastern Germany by Rail from $1700* per person travelling by first class rail from Berlin to Dresden and Leipzip, plus the picturesque Lossnitz Valley Railway.

The 19-day European Treasures from $2729* per person, from London to Amsterdam, Berlin, Prague, Vienna, Ljubjana, Venice, Rome, Florence, French Riviera, Lyon and Paris.

Cosmos tours include European Panoramas of between eight and 27 days, travelling across multiple countries for a complete overview.  Or travellers can choose a Regional Discovery to focus on a particular area in depth, like Britain, Scandinavia, Central Europe, Italy or the Eastern Mediterranean.

Cosmos tours offer the care of an experienced Tour Director and comfortable hotels chosen for the best standard available at a value price.  Tours include many meals, sightseeing, knowledgeable local guides, plus plenty of free time and a range of optional excursions at modest prices.

Cosmos also offers an early payment discount of 2.5 per cent for holidays paid in full four months prior to departure, plus a discount of $100 per couple when booking a second tour.
