Bentours holds rail prices
Bentours has announced it won’t be following other wholesalers in lifting rail prices in response to a weakening Australian dollar.
Its full range of rail tours and rail passes, covering Norway, Finland, Sweden, the Scanrail Pass and Eurail Pass, will continue to be sold at brochured prices. Passes and popular sector fares are outlined on pages 22-24 of Bentours’ Scandinavia and Russia brochure.
Bentours’ non-escorted rail tours include the new ‘Soul of Lapland’ journey on the Inlandsbanan (Inland Railway) from Stockholm to Kiruna, north of the Arctic Circle in Sweden. From Kiruna passengers have the option to continue south to the Norwegian capital of Oslo on famous rail routes or connect to the Hurtigruten Norwegian Coastal Voyage.
‘Soul of Lapland’ departures are available from June 25 to September 3 and are priced at $2620 twin share for the 12-day rail option, including hotel accommodation with breakfast and sightseeing.
Bentours also offers several short rail tours within Norway linking Oslo and Bergen via the spectacular Bergen and Flam Railways and some of the most beautiful western fjords.
Another rail option explores the scenic south of Norway by train and ferry on a round trip from Oslo, via Kristiansund, Stavanger and Bergen. The price for the six day Triangle Tour remains $1360 per person twin share, including hotel accommodation with breakfast and two dinners.
