Scandinavian and Russian specialist Bentours is selling cruise accommodation for the 2014 Sochi Winter Olympics in Russia.

Bentours will partner with a range of cruise liners including the Grand Holiday and the Louis Olympia, docked at the port of Alder; and the Princess Anastasia and Princess Maria cruise ships, docked in the port of Sochi.

These two ports are the closest to the Sochi Olympic Village and are linked to the various Winter Olympics sites by a new dedicated rail line.

Sochi is on the Black Sea. Flights from Moscow are approximately 2 hours 20 minutes with the nearest airport to the Games being Sochi International, located in Adler, 23 kms from the city.

Nigel Loveday, Bentours’ corporate director, says that the ship hotel accommodation is selling fast, "With the shortage of hotel rooms, it is the perfect opportunity for Australians to secure their accommodation with Bentours at great rates and in close proximity to Winter Olympic events," he added.
