Best Western bringing a new ‘Vib’ to the US
Best Western International has unveiled deals for the first two US hotels for its new urban boutique brand ‘Vib.’
Vib Miami will be located in the downtown Arts and Entertainment District.
The newbuild 200 room, 10 story hotel is slated to break ground in the fall of this year.
A three story 74 room hotel is also planned for Chicago close to the Midway Hotel Complex, and work will begin at the site in the summer.
The Vib (pronounced ‘Vibe’) brand philosophy is to provide a hip boutique concept in the under-served midscale segment in major markets.
Best Western recently unveiled the Vib brand which is set to debut in the Gangnam district of Seoul, South Korea.
Best Western International CEO David Kong described Vib’s target market as "travellers seeking innovation, technology and authentic, local flavor."
