Big demand for HK-Singapore travel bubble flights
Some flights for the Hong Kong-Singapore air travel bubble have already sold out. Announced on Monday that the travel bubble will begin on 26 May, demand has been unsurprisingly high and Cathay Pacific says some of the first flights have sold out.
It says after the announcement Cathay’s website traffic surged ten-fold.
Singapore Airlines also said it has also seen a strong demand for tickets. It starts with one round trip flight a day with a limit of 200 passengers. From 10 June it will increase to two flights a day.
