Blue Lagoon Cruises absorbs Fiji VAT increase on existing bookings

Boutique island cruising specialist Blue Lagoon Cruises has become the first Fiji property to announce its decision to absorb the newly announced Fiji Government value added tax (VAT) hike on all existing and any new bookings made prior to midnight today (07 November 2006).
The increase will see Fiji’s VAT, currently 12.5 per cent, rise to 15 per cent from 01 January 2007.
