bmi offers more flights from UK regional airports
Bmi Regional is offering passengers the option to fly to nearly 20 European cities from three UK regional airports for the first time after entering into a codeshare deal with Star Alliance partner Brussels Airlines.
Passengers can fly from Edinburgh, East Midlands and Leeds Bradford airports to Brussels where they can connect on to Brussels Airlines’ onward flights to cities including Bilbao, Madrid, Lyon, Geneva, Rome, Hamburg and Oslo.
Stewart Adams, MD, bmi Regional managing director Stewart Adams said: “We are delighted to open up Europe to key UK regional airports for the first time and further showcase the benefits of our Star Alliance partnership.
"By adjusting the flight times of our UK to Brussels services and introducing new codeshares to a selection of European cities, customers travelling from Edinburgh, Leeds Bradford and East Midlands Airport no longer face a lengthy wait for connections, making travel to Europe as seamless as possible."
