Bmi regional to serve Cologne from East Midlands
Bmi regional is to replace easyJet on the East Midlands-Cologne route.
Six flights a week will start on February 11 on a route previously served by easyJet.
Passengers will be able to travel onwards to other German cities, including Hamburg, with bmi’s Star Alliance partner, Lufthansa.
Fares start at £49 one-way, including all taxes fees and charges when purchased on a return basis.
East Midlands Airport marketing director Caroline Plant said: “We are delighted that bmi regional has chosen to start their Cologne route from East Midlands in February. This is an important destination for the business traveller in the region and I am sure that it will also be a very popular destination for the leisure traveller alike.”
