Boeing 737 Max flights resumed at 11 China airlines
Planemaker Boeing says 11 Chinese airlines have now returned their Boeing 737 Max aircraft to service.
Airlines with Max jets in their fleet include Hainan Airlines, Fuzhou Airlines, Lucky Air and Air China.
“This shows our commitment to our Chinese commercial airplane customers,” said Sherry Carbary, president of Boeing China.
“This enables us to further improve our support as they expand 737 Max operations in China and regionally.”
The Max was grounded in early 2019.
Airlines slowly began resuming Max flights in late 2020 but China was one of the last major markets to approve the Boeing 737 Max return to service.
