Bookable trade website planned by All of America
A trade-only website is being launched by accommodation and tours specialist All of America in a bid to treble business to £4 million in the next year.
The company, which has just completed it first year of trading, is to unveil the bookable website on 4 July at www.allofamerica.co.uk.
The website will use XML technology to link the company to a range of US wholesalers, offering the ability to search for the lowest rates.
More than 2,500 hotels will be featured initially with a further 1,000 to be added in August. Transfers, excursions and car rental will also be introduced. All of America expects to have 80% of its content on the website by the end of August.
A spokesman said: “As well as obtaining prices and making bookings, agents can amend and cancel bookings and print off invoices and service vouchers.”
Agents are being encouraged to use the site to make online bookings with £10 shopping vouchers for the first reservation made in July and £5 per booking thereafter.
All of America is considering expansion to new destinations beyond its core areas of North America, Mexico and the Caribbean, according to director Andy Mitchell.
