Bookings open for new on-site resort at Universal Orlando
Universal Orlando is now taking bookings for a new on-site hotel – the Loews Sapphire Falls Resort.
Due to open in summer 2016, the new, 1,000-room hotel will be the fifth at the theme park and will bring the number of on-site hotel rooms to 5,200.
Inspired by the Caribbean, it is being built around a lush, tropical lagoon with cascading waterfalls.
It will boast Universal Orlando’s largest on-site, ‘zero-entry’ pool at 16,000 square-feet, with a white sand beach, a water slide, cabanas and a fire pit.
The resort will have a laidback feel, where guests are invited to go barefoot if they wish.
Bookings are being accepted for July 14.
