The Mauritius Tourism Promotion authority has welcomed news British Airways will add three flights to its Mauritius schedule from London this winter.
The airline will offer a new three times weekly service from London Heathrow from 3 November 2021 until 8 January 2022.
These new flights are in addition to the existing service from London Gatwick which is operating five flights per week in October.
From 1 October, Mauritius fully reopens to fully vaccinated travellers with no restrictions and full freedom to explore the Indian Ocean island.
Vaccinated travellers only require a negative PCR test taken within 72 hours before departure.
