Brunei joins ANTOR
Brunei Tourism takes first steps to position itself in the Australian Market by joining ANTOR and announcing its decision to join ANTOR, Brunei Tourism Director of Marketing Jean Christophe Robles said, ” Brunei Tourism considers Australia as one of its key source markets, not only is the appeal of Borneo as a holiday destination growing in Australia, helping to position Brunei as the natural gateway to the region, but its geographical situation also makes Brunei a perfect exotic stopover for Australians flying to Europe, North Asia or even the Middle East.
He added, “Brunei Tourism is interested in further developing these strengths and increasing awareness of the destination in the market and while waiting establish a full time presence in Australia through a dedicated marketing and PR representation, we saw joining ANTOR is a first step in establishing a Brunei presence for the benefit of the travel trade and public”

Commenting on Brunei’s move, ANTOR Executive Director Philip Thorniley said: ” Brunei joins other non-resident NTO’s – Spain, Mauritius and Solomon Islands – in making ANTOR membership a first step in their evaluation of the Australian market.” “We’re delighted to be able to facilitate this, and are currently having discussions with other potential off-shore members”
