Burnley travel agent and local magician dies
Former Burnley travel agent and local magician, Paul Willers, has died aged 78.
Willers took over Central Travel in Burnley in 1966 and ran the agency for 30 years.
The shop was originally in Croft Street and later moved to Parker Lane.
Willers was an active member of Skal International.
According to the Burnley Express newspaper, he had been interested in magic since the age of 12 and developed a stage act as a magician, with his wife Wendy as his assistant.
He also had a Punch and Judy show.
He leaves two daughters, Jennifer and Karen, eight grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
