California Luxury Forum with Connections host first winter gathering
The first ever winter season edition of California Luxury Forum with Connections is set to take place next month.
Connections, the global networking platform for the luxury travel industry, has announced further details of a special winter edition of California Luxury Forum with Connections.
It runs from 22–25 March 2026 in Lake Tahoe, in partnership with Visit California and Lake Tahoe Travel.
Hosted at The Ritz-Carlton, Lake Tahoe, the event will bring together 35 leading California luxury suppliers and 35 international luxury travel designers for a curated program of one-to-one meetings, networking and destination experiences.
This winter edition introduces an alpine setting to the California Luxury Forum format, showcasing Lake Tahoe’s resorts, outdoor experiences and year-round appeal.
The event will showcase the destination as a premier luxury winter escape.
The three-day event program will comprise pre-scheduled business meetings with a series of hosted experiences.
Alongside the core business program, delegates will take part in winter sports activities including skiing, snowboarding and après-ski networking experiences.
Following the forum in Lake Tahoe, attending travel designers can extend their stay on a post-event Fam trip to Yosemite National Park.
Hosted at Firefall Ranch at Yosemite, it showcases California’s natural landscapes and luxury outdoor experiences.
Sam Blunsdon, Commercial Director of Connections, said: “Bringing this winter edition to Lake Tahoe allows us to highlight a different side of the destination, while continuing to prioritise high-quality meetings and lasting commercial relationships.”
Caroline Beteta, President & CEO of Visit California, added: “We’re proud to be working closely with our partners at Lake Tahoe Travel and Connections. Lake Tahoe and the greater High Sierra Region offer a unique perspective on the state’s luxury offerings”.
The California Luxury Forum forms part of Connections’ portfolio of destination-led and sector-focused events.
They are designed to connect senior decision-makers from luxury travel agencies with leading global suppliers.
The event will welcome agency owners, product managers and independent travel designers from key international source markets to connect luxury hotels, resorts, destination partners and experience providers from across California.
