California to host luxury travel event
A new luxury travel event will take place in Santa Monica, California, next month.
Connections California will take place on March 10-13, organised by networking and events company Connections in partnership with Visit California.
A carefully-selected group of up to 40 ‘Elite’ agents will meet with California suppliers, including luxury hotels, boutique properties, experience providers and destination management companies.
Host properties include Loews Santa Monica Beach Hotel, Fairmont Miramar Hotel & Bungalows, Hotel Casa del Mar and Shutters on the Beach.
Attendees can engage in one-to-one meetings, an educational programme and memorable local experiences, including Segway sessions, historical walking tours and painting lessons.
Connections founder Micaela Giacobbe said the event provides the opportunity for global buyers to ‘see the luxury appeal of the state and how this unrivalled area has firmly come back from recent natural~disasters’.
