Campland unveils anniversary fun day
San Diego resort campground Campland on the Bay is celebrating a special milestone with a packed day of festivities next month.
Campland’s 54th anniversary will be marked on Saturday, October 14 from 11 a.m.–6 p.m.
The day of festivities is for the public and resort guests with a host of family-friendly activities.
These include games, food trucks, raffle prizes, live entertainment, and a check presentation to several local charities.
Children can cool off on Campland’s Giant Water Slide and enjoy Life Size Games.
Adults can also join in with a bean bag tournament and the family-friendly howling contest.
There is live entertainment from the Kelly Boyz Band and DJ Heath at the Campland Rocks stage and special raffle prizes on the hour throughout the day.
Just steps from the live entertainment, Cantina restaurant has a full bar or sample bites from a variety of local food trucks.
A multi-generational family-operated resort, Campland on the Bay officially opened in San Diego in 1969.
The activities and amenities are also available to guests camping at Mission Bay RV Resort, accessible via a short walk or bike ride.
Campland now offers an additional 147 RV and tent camping sites available for online booking .
For guests without an RV, local RV rental companies are available to deliver an RV to the site and set it up. Tent camping is also available at Campland on the Bay, along with family-friendly waterfront accommodations in Mission Bay Park.
Campland on the Bay and Mission Bay RV Resort’s Beat the Heat Package offers a third night free with the purchase of two nights.
It is through 12/14/23 at Campland on the Bay and now through 12/10/2023 at Mission Bay RV Resort.
