The Public Relations Department at Conrad Jupiters has an immediate vacancy for a Public Relations Officer. Reporting to the Public Relations Manager, the key responsibilities of this role will include:

• Media Relations – writing press releases and coordinating media opportunities to generate media exposure.
• Supervision of photo and film shoots.
• Assisting PR Manager with various sponsorships and coordination of special events.
• Coordination of entertainment schedules.
• Attending to enquiries from the general public and other stakeholders
• Office administration duties i.e. filing, taking minutes,
• Maintain databases & coordinate mail-outs
• Writing Award submissions

KEY SELECTION CRITERIA

To be successful you will have:
 Degree qualifications (Communications, PR, Marketing) or equivalent
 1- 2 years min experience in a similar role
 Sound working knowledge of Microsoft Office – Word, Access, Excel (50+wpm typing), Adobe, Power Point
 Exceptional communication skills (verbal and written)
 Strong writing skills
 Excellent organisational skills
 The ability to work flexible hours as required
 Well groomed and dynamic outgoing personality, must be able to host and entertain clients
