Caribbean specialist ceases trading

A Caribbean specialist based in London has ceased trading after claiming to be in business for more than 30 years.

New Look Travel, which was an ABTA member and ATOL protected, acted as an agent and operator specialising in low cost flights and holidays to the Caribbean.

Its website said: "Our business was established over 30 years ago and we have a proud reputation for providing good service to our customers."

ABTA confirmed that the company closed on Friday and said that as New Look Travel operated as an agent in many cases, customers should contact the tour operator they booked with direct.

It said the agency had joined the association last year.

The CAA said New Look Travel was mainly flight only and that they anticipated about 300 passengers will be affected.
